Pro-level Bass Guitarist

I have been in music since 1966 when I got my first acoustic guitar for Christmas. Played trumpet in Soddy-Daisy High School marching band and swing band from 1967 - 1970.  I played with a Dixieland Jazz band in Texas in 1968. I played Rhythm Guitar from 1968-1975. I started on bass in 1975 with a 4-string Gibson Grabber bass and played it for 17 years with some well-known groups with varying genres including gospel, country, rock, jazz and bluegrass. In 1992, I bought a 5-string Ibanez EX Series narrow neck black bass (which I still own). In 2002, I bought a new 5-string red Fender Jazz, American Deluxe, Flame Maple Top Bass with gold hardware and a Hartke kickback bass rig. I am proficient with the Nashville Number System.
